 From the beginning I knew that the world of graphics was where I wanted to be. When I was in elementary school, my mother was horrified one day when I came home with more money than I'd left the house with. To her surprise, she later discovered my classmates had been paying me for drawings I would make of their favorite cartoon characters. She identifies this as one of the first times she thought I "might have something there".
 My first personal computer was a Commodore 64, then a Commodore Amiga, an Apple Macintosh... and years later, I added a PC to my repertoire as well. The work I do at home, I do on a variety of machines (Mac and PC). I constantly celebrate and criticize the different operating systems available, but at the end of the day, if it gets the job done, I'm happy.
My primary interests are self improvement, computer graphics, Illustration, comics, programming, music, and writing (and tons of other goop that I'll never have time for). I also have a weak spot for "gadgets", gizmos, and electronic devices of all kinds. I run my own business doing web development, multimedia, and more under the name "Direct Nexus".
 I've gone to college for Illustration, though I realize, like all things in life... there'll never be an end to learning. Having worked for the last 10 years in interactice multimedia, I'm well versed in everything from pixels and paintboxes to drawings and digitized images. I have had my creative hand in producing several entertainment titles on the market today. All in all it's been a very enriching experience, and I try everyday to add to, and share my knowledge with everyone I meet. |  | |
